A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in St Albans on Tuesday.
Police were called to The Close, off Praetorian Court, just before 10.30am on June 5.
A 24-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds and was taken by air ambulance to hospital. He remains in hospital.
Andre Steven Ryan, 21, from Belmont Hill in St Albans has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
A 22-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the inquiry has been released on bail while further inquiries are made.
