RESIDENTS in Colney Heath are being warned to expect flooding after a warning was put in place this morning.

The Environment Agency upgraded the risk from an alert to a warning, which means flooding is expected on the River Colne.

It says river levels are rising slowly and there remains a risk to properties near the river.

Residents are being advised to to keep a check on their property and take appropriate action when needed.

A flood alert remains in place for the Upper River Colne and Radlett Brook.
