A TREE was set alight in the front garden of a St Albans home during an arson attack.
Police have appealed for information and witnesses following the blaze in Tavistock Avenue, at 6pm on Friday, June 1.
Detective Constable Lee Osborne said: “Members of the public stopped to help put the fire out and I am particularly keen to speak with these people, if that was you please contact me. The victim would also like to thank those people who stopped.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information which would assist the investigation to contact police.”
