Christmas decorations have brought some much-needed light to the dark winter nights this festive season.

While the lights in the West End of London celebrated the nation’s coronavirus heroes, such as NHS volunteer responder Anis Ali, creative types elsewhere were busy lifting spirits with illuminated marmots and dinosaurs.
