St Albans Ladies returned to action with a 3-3 draw at title rivals Flitwick Ladies in Division One on Sunday.
It was a big first game back with leaders Flitwick hosting second-placed St Albans.
Just before the half hour mark Amber Charlton put in a perfectly placed corner for Kelly Hancock to head home from close-range.
Flitwick momentarily switched off after conceding which allowed Holly Sheridan to run at their defence before squaring a ball for Sophie Joseph to slot past the keeper to make it 2-0.
After all their hard work, City conceded a soft penalty five minutes into the second half.
The hosts then levelled the match and the turnaround continued when Flitwick took the lead for the first time.
But St Albans weren't finished and rescued a draw when Sheridan netted her second of the match.
The result extends their unbeaten run in the league.
