London Colney romped to a 6-0 home win over Woodbridge Town in their FA Cup extra preliminary round tie on Saturday.
It took the hosts just 30 minutes to build a 4-0 lead as they brushed aside their opponents to earn a trip to Maldon & Tiptree in the next round.
The Blueboys opened the scoring after 11 minutes when a long ball from Tom Smith set up Jimmy Hartley for a clinical finish.
Colney doubled their lead when Dan Power sent in a cross-shot from the right wing which beat the visiting keeper.
The hosts were in control and added a third goal when Jimmy Warner’s cross was volleyed home by Spencer Clarke-Mardel.
It was 4-0 when Warner flicked the ball back across the area and Hartley headed home from eight yards.
Hartley completed his hat-trick just after the hour mark when he took advantage of a defensive mistake to fire his effort in off the post.
Man-of-the-match Hartley helped round off the scoring in the 72nd minute when he set up Martin Collins for a simple finish.
The Blueboys head to AFC Dunstable tomorrow night before hosting Holmer Green on Saturday.
