London Colney eased to a 3-0 win at FC Broxbourne Borough on Saturday in the South Midlands Premier Division.
It was an eventful first half and the visitors had plenty of chances.
Colney opened the scoring before the break when Russell Gallagher played in James Ewington.
He turned his marker with ease to drill the ball into the bottom corner of the net for his seventh goal in three matches.
The Blueboys did not have to wait long to make it 2-0 at the start of the second half.
Tom Smith was brought down by Kendall Allen for a penalty and Greg Shaw confidently fired past Adam Seymour.
London Colney kept the pressure on Broxbourne and continued to pepper the goal.
Their efforts were finally rewarded when Charlie Smith sent in a cross and Shaw struck a superb volley past the keeper.
The Blueboys entertain London Tigers tonight and host Cockfosters on Saturday.
London Colney Reserves won 4-2 at home to AFC Dunstable with two goals from Dan Parkinson and one apiece from Niall Lysaght and Sam Campbell.
London Colney Blues beat Kings Sports away 6-1 with both Johnny Armitt and Jon Clements scoring two goals each along with one for Chris Griffen and Stuart McGrath.
The London Colney Blues Reserves lost 6-5 on penalties in the West Herts Junior Cup at home to Sun Sports Rovers.
Scoring the goal in normal time was Will O’Brien while Dan Tansley, George Dale, George Ray, Paolo Ditri and Jason Corley found the net.
