TOM WALKER has clinched the Harpenden RFC Open Squash Club Championship after beating David Wells 3-0 in a final which was closer than the scoreline suggested.
However, Wells gained revenge later in the day when the tables were turned and he captured the handicap title, 2-0 at Walker's expense.
Neil Melvill picked up his third veteran's title in four years after opponent Tony Clifford withdrew injured while Gerry Smith beat Andrew Farnham 3-1 to take the vintage title.
