After three days of auditions the difficult decisions have been made and the X Factor finalists have been selected.
Among the lucky 12 acts vying to be crowned winner of this year’s show are three local acts: Fleur East, 26, from Walthamstow, James Graham, 17, of New Boy Band (name still to be decided) Essex, and Lauren Platt, 16, from Essex.
Here are their vital stats:
Name: James Graham (back row right)
Team: Louis Walsh
What did the judges say: Louis said of his audition: I don’t think you realise just how good you are
Odds: 5/1
We think: Watch out One Direction
Name: Fleur East
Team: Simon Cowell
Dream duet: Alicia Keys
What did the judges say: Simon: The best so far...
Odds: Considered the surprise of the competition, she’s been given odds of 25/1.
We think: Cool hair, great vocals, dodgy song choices.
Name: Lauren Platt
Team: Cheryl Versini Fernandez
Dream duet: Beyonce
What did the judges say: As the youngest girl, Cheryl was concerned how Lauren would cope
Odds: 7/1 – she had a standing ovation during her arena audition
We think: She can sing. Really sing.
