Watford defender Gabriel Tamas faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the draw with Bournemouth.
The Romania international was stretchered off the pitch in the 32nd minute of Saturday's contest and will now face several months of recovery and then rehabilitation.
The 30-year-old joined the Hornets in the summer and has made ten appearances for the Golden Boys.
