Watford striker Odion Ighalo has been nominated for the PFA fans' Premier League player of the month award.
The 12-man ‘shortlist’ has been revealed by the PFA and the Nigerian striker’s form during September, in which he has scored three goals in three games, has seen him selected.
The 26-year-old faces competition for the honour from Swansea City trio Ashley Williams, Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis, Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy, Manchester City duo Vincent Kompany and David Silva, West Ham Unitet’s Dimitri Payet, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
