It was a disappointing day for those Herts Senior County League sides from the Watford area whose games did go ahead on Saturday with all suffering defeat.
Bovingdon’s Premier Division title hopes suffered a setback as they lost 2-1 at Ware Sports; Stefan Owen-Edwards netting the visitors’ goal.
Mid-table Bushey Sports Club were beaten 3-0 at home by leaders Letchworth Garden City Eagles, while a Krasi Makaveev goal was all Chipperfield Corinthians had to show from a 4-1 home loss at the hands of Standon and Puckeridge.
Croxley Green went down 2-0 at FC Lemsford in Division One and Old Parmiterians’ Aubrey Cup hopes were resoundingly ended at the third round stage as they lost 7-0 at Hadley Wood and Wingate.
