Watford fans spend the least amount in the Premier League of their weekly salary on away matches when travelling by car according to a new study.
A research study by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk claims Hornets supporters only paid 13.92 per cent of their weekly salary after adding up the cost of a match day ticket, pint, pie, programme and the average cost of the car journey.
Sunderland fans spent the most with 18.4 per cent of their weekly salary which was followed by Middlesbrough on 17.24 per cent.
Watford fans spent an average of 27.75 per cent of their weekly income on an away day when travelling by train.
This was some way below the highest which is Sunderland at 42.31 per cent while West Brom were the cheapest at 23.53 per cent.
