A West Africa Spectacular event will be held next weekend in High Wycombe to raise money for a deprived school in the Ivory Coast.
The event will be held at the Arts4Every1 Centre, in Desborough Road, on Saturday, November 22.
This is a one off show, with all the proceeds going to the Denifari Music School, Abobo, Ivory Coast.
This collaboration features Hartbeats Vitae Drummers, who have been performing in High Wycombe for the last 16 years, and Sidiki Dembele and other African musicians.
This event was organised by Justine Hart, who has been running Hartbeats African drumming classes and performances in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas since 1998.
She said: “In the 16 plus years that I've been drumming and organising events, this is the most amazing project that I and my fellow drummers have had the opportunity to be involved in.
“I've frequently travelled to West Africa, but this time West Africa is coming to my home town.
“I'm really looking forward to giving High Wycombe the chance to see and hear the extraordinary talents of Sidiki and his musicians and of course all of us performing with him.”
The show will begin at 7.30pm, with the bar opening from 7pm.
Pre-booked tickets cost £10 per adult, £5 for under 16’s and under 5's go free. Tickets on the door will be available at £12 per adult and £6.50 for under 16's.
Tickets can be purchased from www.arts4every1.com
