I too, played in bands in the St Albans area in the 80's, as Rik did. It is a real shame to hear of his death. Clietelle, as much as any rock band in the area at that time, were responsible for keeping interest in the genre alive and kicking. Many bands, including the band I was in (Schutt) had a lot to thank Rockit , Stevie T, Phil and, not least of all, Rik (Clientelle)for, in that respect. RIP Rik Taylor  − R Church, Woodbridge

Congratulations to the people of Hertfordshire for excelling in the Bush Shoe-Smack game! As an American, I would like to hit him perhaps even more than you do since he has harmed our country most of all (except, of course, Iraq which is essentially in shambles.) What is the secret of your ability? I'm trying to improve my game--I'm only up to 12 smacks before my time runs out.
