A Hatfield father, who has been charged with the murder of his four-year-old daughter, appeared in court today.
Carl Wheatley, 30, appeared in St Albans Crown Court charged with murdering his daughter, Alexa- Marie Quinn, at their home address in Queen Bee Court, Hatfield.
Alexa-Marie died at Lister hospital in Stevenage after police were called to her house at 9.36am on Thursday, March 13.
A post-mortem examination has failed to establish the cause of death and police say further tests could take months. Wheatley will go on trial on September 2 at St Albans Crown Court.
