Get out your sweep nets and magnifying glasses and join Britain’s favourite botanist David Bellamy for a Bug Hunt Bonanza today at St Albans’ Butterfly World.
Experts from Butterfly World and the Royal Entomological Society will be on hand to help visitors of all ages hunt down and identify bugs throughout the 27 acres of specially created habitats, wildflower meadows and designer gardens from 10am.
The findings will be recorded as part of a national bug survey and is part the Royal Entomological Society’s biennial initiative - National Insect Week (June 23 and June 29)
