Louise Neicho, site manager for the Woodland Trust said: "It was fantastic to see such a great turn out to our Heartwood Festival, which was themed around trees, woods and art.
"It was quite a sight seeing all the children running around flying their kites in the breeze, and getting stuck in with charcoal drawing. The atmosphere was wonderful; another great day celebrating local woodland."
