From celebrity guests to chestnut roasting and carol singing, the traditional switching on of lights in Harpenden will take place later this month.
The Colts will be running a ‘Beat the Keeper’ event from 11am with the chance to ‘Score a Shot’ from Jack Wilshere, the Arsenal and England midfielder.
The light switch on will take place from 5pm on Sunday, November 23, in Church Green.
Organised by Harpenden Town Council the event has attracted up to 10,000 people in the past few years.
