Free pizza giveaway at opening of new takeaway shop in Harpenden
A pizza takeaway chain has opened a new store in Harpenden. Papa John’s on the High Street will be giving away 200 pizzas today to officially mark its opening and to raise money for The Harpenden Trust. The pizza give-away will start from 12noon

St Albans Royal British Legion Christmas Fair today
The St Albans Royal British Legion Christmas Fair including crafts, gifts, refreshments and tombola will be held today. Entrance is free and proceeds go to the legion's Christmas Carol Service and Poppy Appeal. The fair starts at 10am at 85
