Four of the biggest names in metal will be sharing the stage at this year’s spectacular Sonisphere Festival: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax – otherwise known as The Big Four - from July 8 until July 10. The giants will headline Friday night at Hertfordshire’s Knebworth House beginning this three day extravaganza.

Hertfordshire's own big-named bands: Gallows and Enter Shikari are also set to storm the event, held from July 8 to 10. Other favourites including Slipknot, Biffy Clyro, Limp Bizkit, MOTÖRHEAD, House of Pain, Weezer, Sisters of Mercy and Sonisphere regulars Sylosis.
