2. Folk at The Maltings: Whinlatter, Sue Graves and Ragged Staff

St Albans band Whinlatter will join Surrey-based singer Sue Graves with the Bedfordshire trio Ragged Staff in concert. Whinlatter have performed in the area since 2013, while Sue joined the Surrey folk scene in the 1970s. Ragged Staff released their second album in 2013 and play an Anglo-Celtic mix of traditional and contemporary folk music.

3. Ultimate ‘80s Party

Pull on your leg warmers, pad your shoulders and paint your face Adam Ant-style for a night back in the 1980s. Heaven 17, The Wildboys and resident DJ Lee Partridge from Vibe Radio will provide the music.

4. Fu Fighters 

Hailing from the north east of England, this energetic band pays homage to American rock legends, the Foo Fighters. The four-strong tribute act performs classics from the Foo’s seven studio albums.

5. The Country

Follow the drama that unravels after a doctor finds a young woman unconscious by the roadside – who later seems to know all the details of his life. Written by Martin Crimp, a contemporary British playwright, this thriller promises to have the audience on the edge of their seats.
