Volunteers are needed to help plant 7,000 trees in a St Albans park.
The Highfield Park Trust is looking for residents to help out at a tree planting day on Sunday, January 20.
More than 20 different types of tree will be planted during the day, but the majority of the collection will be oak and hornbeam.
Volunteers are asked to bring a spade, and they are advised to wrap up warm and to wear suitable boots.
The planting session will run between 11am and 1pm.
