Dear Review,
The three Travellers caravans that parked up on the footpath behind Tesco's are back. They arrived behind the superstore in early December, but were finally ordered off by the County Council and left last week. But it appears they haven't moved very far as three similar looking caravans have been, for the past few days, pitched up opposite the Manor Parade shops in the Garden Village.
All it takes is a simple post to be fixed in the ground to prevent trespass by unauthorised vehicles. A post like that in the picture would only cost about £200 to install, including materials.
But this cost pales to insignificance when the Council get involved with the processes of eviction. And then there's the clean up afterwards!
Meanwhile, rubbish remains piled up close to the previous camp behind Tesco's.
