Gianluca Sensi, 19, of Cotlandswick, London Colney. On October 12, 2012, assaulted a person by beating him. Community order made with programme, supervision and unpaid work requirements. Restraining order made. Compensation, costs: £410.
Mohammed Amanur Rahman, 36, of New Greens Avenue, St Albans. On July 19, 2012, drove in Hempstead Road, junction with Langley Way, without due care and attention. Fine, costs: £735. Four penalty points.
Shawaz Uddin, 21, of Pickford Hill, Harpenden. On October 10, 2012, was in possession of one cannabis joint and five small bags of cannabis, a class B drug; also, on same date, used threatening, abusive or insulting words. Fine, costs: £415.
Margaret Mardel, 21, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans. On July 23, 2012, between Apsley and Watford Junction stations, failed to hand over ticket when asked to do so. Fine, compensation, costs: £339.40.
