Green-fingered brownies will lend a hand to residents from a Harpenden care home with a spot of gardening.

Harpenden Brownie group will be dropping by at Willow Court care home in Aldwickbury Crescent on Monday, September 23.

The brownies will help the residents plant bulbs in the grounds of the care home.

The project is part of the group’s Community Planting Programme and residents of Willow Court are happy to get involved.

Care Home manager Julie Churchill said: “We are absolutely delighted to take part in this special project.”

“We have many green fingered residents here at Willow Court who thoroughly enjoy a spot of gardening, and we look forward to the new addition to our garden.”

The brownies will be planting the bulbs between 5.45pm and 7.30pm.
