Brian George Edwards-Galbraith, 60, of Aldbury Grove, Panshanger, WGC. Between January 23, 2012, and August 20, 2012, failed to notify Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council of a change in circumstances which  affected entitlement to housing and Council Tax benefits; also, between January 19, 2012, and August 13, 2012, failed to notify DWP of a change in circumstances which  affected entitlement to income support. Fine, costs: £230.

Sarah Kate Winnan, 23, of Bridge Court, WGC. On January 6, 2013, assaulted a person by beating her; also, on same date, assaulted a second person by beating her. Community order made with curfew and unpaid work requirement. Compensation, costs: £270.

Thursday, June 13

Alex Marcel Crashaw, 18, of Broomfield Road, Welwyn. On May 29, 2013, together with another, entered the Wellington public house storage unit, Welwyn, as a trespasser and stole wine. Community order made with attendance centre requirement. Compensation, costs: £215.

Sebastain Dunne, 18, of Glebe Road, Welwyn. On May 29, 2013, together with another, entered the Wellington public house storage unit, Welwyn, as a trespasser and stole wine. Community order made with attendance centre requirement. Compensation, costs: £215.

Brian Peter Lerigo, 49, of Rupert House, Little Hardings, WGC. On April 23, 2013, assaulted a person by beating her. Community order made with programme and supervision requirement. Costs: £145.

Mlondolozi Moyo, 27, of Stockbreach Close, Hatfield. On November 21, 2012, drove on the A1(M) without a valid licence. Fine, costs: £142. Six penalty points.

Andrew Barker, 19, of Gosforth Lane, Watford. On February 26, 2013, used a vehicle on a public road where the tyre fitted to the front offside wheel did not have sufficient depth of tread. Fine, costs: £525. Three penalty points.

Peter Winston Stantiford, 70, of Moorlands, WGC. On November 19, 2012, drove in Heronswood Road, WGC, at 36mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £60. Three penalty points.

Kateline Barros, 23, of Talbot Road, Hatfield. On November 29, 2012, drove in Stanborough Road, WGC, while carrying a child between the ages of three and 14 who was not wearing a seat belt; also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £945. Eight penalty points.

Sarwar Shamsher, 42, of Holwell Road, WGC. On November 29, 2012, drove in Hatfield Road, St Albans, at 48mph, the legal limit being 40mph. Fine, costs: £305. Three penalty points.

Mark Simpson, 40, of Lincoln Close, Panshanger, WGC. On December 5, 2012, at Harpenden, used a motor vehcile without insurance or a valid licence. Fine, costs: £945. Eight penalty points.

Richard Neil Sullivan, 49, of Bushey Ley, WGC. On October 24, 2012,  drove in Mardley Hill, Welwyn at a speed in excess of the 40mph legal limit. Fine, costs: £165. Three penalty points.

Friday, June 14

Stephen Willis, 56, of Stockbreach Road, Hatfield. On June 3, 2012, deposited controlled waste from caravan dismantling in or on land at the rear of North Mymms Youth and Community Centre without a permit. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Costs: £1,900.

James Robert Hurt, 33, of Hollybush Lane, WGC. On May 7, 2013, drove in Cavendish Way, Hatfield, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 68 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes; also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance or a valid licence; also, on same date, failed to stop after an accident which caused damage to another vehicle. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes activity, supervision and unpaid work requirements. Banned from driving for three years, to be reduced by 36 weeks if approved course undertaken. Costs: £165.

Jake Jensen, 18, of Knella Road, WGC. On February 22, 2013, en route near Potters Bar, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification. Fine, compensation, costs: £347.30. Also, similarly, on February 23, 2013, at WGC station. Fine, compensation, costs: £570.40.

Kalumbi Salimu, 22, of Deerswood Avenue, Hatfield. On February 4, 2013, travelled on railway without having previously paid fare. Fine, compensation, costs: £569.30.

Pearce Stephen, 52, of Holme Road, Hatfield. On February 8, 2013, en route near Hatfield, entered a train without having a valid ticket for travel. Fine, compensation, costs: £354.90.
