A jeweller from St Albans has presented a diamond worth £1,000 to a customer as part of the city's Fashion week, which took place last month.
The city's Mayor Annie Brewster, presented the diamond prize to Gwen Tagg, the grandmother of the competition winner Robert Hoskins.
Mrs Tagg said: "My daughter is so thrilled to have won this wonderful prize. She is getting married next year, so will probably use the diamond as part of her wedding ring design."
Stephen Hill, of Kingshill Jewellers, said: "St Albans Fashion Week was a truly magnificent event showcasing the excellence of local fashion and beauty retailers.
"As part of this celebration we offered a stunning diamond and £100 voucher towards a bespoke ring mount to the lucky winner of their grand prize draw."
