Harpenden Building Society has donated £15,000 to a charity dedicated to designing bespoke equipment for people with physical disabilities.

Thanks to the building society, Demand now has a shiny new transit, which will enable its staff to continue visiting people to assess and meet their needs.

Like a knight in shining armour, the new silver van, complete with the Demand logo and motto ‘Design, Make, Modify’ gleaming on the doors, awaits ready to take new equipment to the people that need it most.

Paul Marsden, Director and Chief Executive from the building society said: "We are delighted to have been able to support such a worthwhile cause. Demand provide innovative bespoke equipment to disabled people, which can transform lives.

"The ability to safely transport this equipment is paramount, and we were very pleased to help."
