A woman in her 40s was airlifted to hospital with serious neck injuries in St Albans yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Sandpit Lane at approximately 3.30pm after reports a woman was seriously injured. She was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital with neck injuries.
Sarah Spence, spokesman from Hertfordshire Constabulary, said no one else is involved in the incident.
