The release of butterflies will mark the opening of a magical world of creepy crawlies and blossoming flowers in St Albans on Monday.
The city's Mayor, Annie Brewster, will release the first butterflies to open Butterfly World for this year’s season.
Visitors of all ages will be able to see, touch, learn and explore 27 acres of specially created gardens, tropical butterfly house, wildflower meadows and designer gardens when the centre in Miriam Lane, Chiswell Green opens its doors.
