As the summer draws closer and university students in St Albans prepare for their end-of-year exams, TV Licensing is reminding those moving home for the summer they may be able to claim a refund.

Students at University Campus St Albans, who purchased a TV Licence at the start of the academic year will have a full three months remaining on their licence and refunds can be claimed for unused quarters.

This could be up to £36.67 on their licence.

To be eligible, students need to have a TV Licence, be leaving their halls or rented accommodation and be moving to a licensed address.

To arrange a refund, or for further information visit: www.tvlicensing.co.uk/studentinfo, or call TV Licensing on 0300 790 6113.

How generous of the BBC! I think it is totally disgusting that students are charged for a license anyway. Students have next to no money & yet the BBC are paying their bosses & presenters Millions of pounds in wages. TV license for students should be scrapped!
