Police have released an image of graffiti in the hope of tracing thieves who stole spray cans from a St Albans college.

The burglary took place between 9.30pm on Sunday, June 29 and 7am on Monday, June 30 at Oaklands College in Hatfield Road.

The thieves entered the campus of the college and forced their way into an office where a number of keys were stolen. They then entered another outbuilding and a metal container where they stole a number of spray-paint cans.

These spray cans were then used to write on several walls around the campus.

PC Hussain Skoien said: "Significant damage has been caused at the campus, so we would like to identify the person responsible for the pictured graffiti as they may be able to assist us with the investigation.

"Anyone who believes they know the identity of the person responsible for the pictured graffiti should contact me immediately. Equally, I would like to hear from anyone who remembers hearing or seeing anything suspicious or unusual during the stated times of the incident at the college."
