The Met Office has issued a weather warning this afternoon across south west Hertfordshire.

The yellow warning was issued today - and warns of the possibility of localised flooding and disruption to transport.

Members of the public have been warned to "be prepared for adverse weather".

The Met Office’s chief forecaster said further showers are expected this afternoon which may be in excess of 10mm in a short space of time. 

The showers are not expected to be as heavy as they were this morning. The warning is in place until 9pm tonight.
