Firefighters in St Albans said a planned open day last month was cancelled due to an ongoing row with the government over pensions.
The station in London Road was due to hold its annual open day on Sunday, August 31 but cancelled at last minute.
The firefighters took part in an eight day strike during August and said it wouldn’t have been right to hold the open day.
They hope the dispute will be settled last year so that the open day can go ahead.
