A one-hour special radio show on mental health has been nominated for an award.
Radio Verulam’s ‘Outspoken’ show has been nominated in a shortlist of five for a mind media award.
Every year, the awards celebrate the best examples of reporting and portrayal of mental health in print, broadcast and digital media, recognising media professionals, organisations, students and individuals who report responsibly and sensitively on mental health.
Radio Verulam is the Community Radio station for West Herts, based in St Albans and run by volunteers.
The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 17 at the British Film Institute in London.
