The deputy finance director for St Albans hospital has been shortlisted for a healthcare award.
Clare Stafford is in the running to win Deputy Finance Director of the Year at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Awards.
Clare was nominated by the trust’s chief financial officer, Don Richards.
He said: "Finance isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Clare is great at engaging our doctors, surgeons, nurses, midwives and other staff to make sure they understand the vital role they have to play in helping to ensure we live within our means."
The HFMA is the professional body for the healthcare finance profession. The awards ceremony will take place on December 4.
