A by-election for two ward councillor vacancies in Marshalswick South will be held next month.
A preliminary date for the by-election has been set for Thursday, January 29, following the resignation of Conservative councillors Heidi Allen and Seema Kennedy.
Both have been selected by the party to fight for parliamentary seats elsewhere in the country during the May general election.
Ms Allen was chosen as Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate for South Cambs, while Ms Kennedy is set to stand in South Ribble, Lancashire.
