Monday, October 13

Mohammed Sonor Ali, 37, of Ladies Grove, St Albans. On May 30, 2014, assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Also, on same date, failed to give specimen of breath for analysis and failed to stop when required to do so by a police officer in uniform. Also, on same date, assaulted a second police officer and used threatening, abusive of insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes programme and supervision requirements. Compensation, costs: £1,100.

Diane Lynda Brooks, 50, of Coach Mews, St Albans. On February 26, 2014, dishonestly received stolen goods namely mobile phone belonging to another. Commission of a further offence while subject to conditional discharge order, for offence of theft. Resentenced for original offence. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Costs: £460.

Tuesday, October 14

Andrew Scott Niven, 36, of Scrubbitts Square, Radlett. On August 9, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Community order made with drug rehabilitation, supervision and unpaid work requirements. Compensation, costs: £245.

Paul Anthony Niven, 33, of Scrubbitts Square, Radlett. On August 9, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Also, on dates between September 15, 2014, and September 16, 2014, took a vehicle without the owner’s consent for use of self and another, and before it was recovered damage was caused to vehicle. Also, between same dates, drove in The Dell, Radlett, without a valid licence, and used a vehicle without insurance. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. Costs: £80. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Pamela Janice Couchman, 50, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn. On September 23, 2014, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £100.

David Gordon Hamilton, 45, of Stephens Way, Redbourn. On March 24, 2014, drove on the M1 at Hemel Hempstead while using a hand-held telephone. Fine, costs: £305. Three penalty points.

Kathryn Anne Stanbridge, 40, of Brewhouse Hill, Wheathampstead. On March 4, 2014, used a vehicle in Green Lanes, Hatfield, without insurance. Fine, costs: £210. Six penalty points.

Mehmet Gaygusuz, 58, of Southfield Way, St Albans. On March 22, 2014, drove on a speed restricted section of the M25 at 65mph, the legal limit being 50mph. Fine, costs: £240. Three penalty points.

Callum Bourne, 21, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans. On March 27, 2014, drove in Artisan Crescent, St Albans, without a valid licence. Also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £660. Eight penalty points.

Mark Everton Brown, 48, of Garden Cottages, St Albans. On March 25, 2014, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £525. Eight penalty points.

Stephen Christopher Page, 59, of Davys Close, Wheathampstead. On September 28, 2014, assaulted a person by beating her. Discharged conditionally for six months. Costs: £100.

On September 27, 2014, drove in Gateshead Road, Borehamwood, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 109 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath.
