Monday, December 8

Salim Ben-Ali Khatib, 30, of Halsey Park, London Colney. On August 15, 2014, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. Fine, costs: £1,445. Banned from driving for 12 months, to be reduced by three months if approved course undertaken.

Hayley Devaney, 33, of St Edmunds Walk, St Albans. On August 26, 2014, kept on a public road a vehicle which was unlicensed. Fine, costs: £290.

Kirsty Matthews, 34, of Minister Court, Frogmore. On June 27, 2014, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of the transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Fine, costs: £83.

Tuesday, December 9

Emma Clair Huntingford, 39, of Bricket Lodge, Lye Lane, Bricket Wood. On or between February 24, 2014, and April 5, 2014, committed fraud in that presented a debit card intending to make a gain. Also, on or between February 24, 2014, and April 24, 2014, stole post belonging to another. Commission of a further offence during operational period of suspended sentence order made on August 5, 2013, for driving over prescribed limit. Committed to prison for nine weeks.

Eli Jovic Ray Stapleton, 21, of Richard Stagg Close, St Albans. On September 13, 2014, assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Also, on same date, four others by beating them. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Compensation, costs: £275.

Bernard Anthony Doherty, 29, of How Wood, Park Street. On July 25, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Also, on same date, assaulted a second person by beating him. Fine, compensation, costs: £445.

Paul Michael Glanville, 34, of Hatfield Road, St Albans. Applica-tion to reopen case following conviction for speeding. Case reopened. Conviction and sentence set aside. Resentenced: On April 23, 2014, drove in Park Street, at a speed in excess of the 30mph limit. Fine, costs: £240. Three penalty points.

Wednesday, December 10

Laurence Derek Pearce, 49, of Valley Rise, Wheathampstead. On June 8, 2014, drove on the A414 southbound at Hemel Hempstead at 115mph, the legal limit being 70mph. Fine, costs: £772. Six penalty points.

Thursday, December 11 Hor Leng Lim, 60, of Old Sopwell Gardens, St Albans. On November 30, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Compensation, costs: £200.

Syed Fida Hussain, 34, of Lavender Crescent, St Albans. On October 30, 2014, drove in Melrose Place, Watford, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 115 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Committed to prison for four months suspended for 12 months. Compensation, costs: £665. Banned from driving for 50 months, to be reduced by 50 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Afzal Kabir, 22, of Thirlmere Drive, St Albans. On October 13, 2014, drove in Camp Road, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 94 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Community order made with alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Fine, costs: £320. Banned from driving for 36 months.

Nikola Sarkovic, 46, of Bardwell Court, St Albans. On April 27, 2014, drove on the A14 at Newmarket, at a speed in excess of 70mph. Fine, costs: £255. Three penalty points. Jonathan Edward Millbank, 47, of Kirkwick Avenue, Harpenden. On June 13, 2014, drove in The Green, Croxley Green, at 52mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £525. Six penalty points.
