Residents have complained of "shoddy workmanship" at a car park in St Albans.
Many have taken to social media sites to complain about the new paintwork at the NCP car park in Drovers Way.
The carpark, which charges £10 for between six and 24 hour parking, was painted last week.
Simon Verrall took photos of the scene. He said: “As someone in the trade, it's very disappointing to see such poor workmanship.
"Just because it's a car park, doesn't mean it shouldn't get the same level of care and attention as any other job.
“Especially as the car park is potentially one of the first places, new visitors see when they come to St Albans - it doesn't give a good impression at all.
“Many locals have also expressed their disgust at the state of the work on locally based Facebook groups. NCP are a wealthy company, so it's a shame they cut corners like this with the maintenance of their premises.”
