A hip hop band visited a school for children with autism as part of a week dedicated to raising awareness about the condition.

Big Brovaz spent Monday, March 30, at Radlett Lodge School, meeting students and performing their hit song, Baby Boy.

The Radlett Rappers (also known as the Apollo Boys) were also asked to perform a song in front of Big Brovaz.

Member J-Rock quit the band in 2010 after his son, Richard-Michael, was diagnosed with autism and he wanted to learn as much as possible about the condition.

Baby Boy was written in tribute to Richard-Michael and all proceeds raised from the song will go towards the National Autistic Society.

J-Rock, said: "When I first found out that my son had autism, I wanted to do everything I could to help him. Now my focus is on helping as many people on the spectrum as is humanly possible.

"By sharing my story, I hope to raise more awareness and increase public understanding and acceptance of the condition.

"With the right kind of support we can improve the lives of thousands of families like mine living with autism in the UK."
