Suspected 'deliberate' car fire in St Albans driveway this morning
Firefighters were called to a car "well alight" after a suspected deliberate fire in a St Albans driveway today.
The crew from St Albans were called to Praetorian Court, off Vesta Avenue, shortly before 1.30am after six residents reported the fire.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the blaze, the cause of which has not been ascertained.
The fire has been recorded as "doubtful or deliberate" by Hertfordshire Fire Service.
