A team of lawyers from St Albans will be stepping out on a Magna Carta themed fundraiser to help ensure justice for all.

The team from Blavo & Co Solicitors are joining in the St Albans Legal Walk on Monday, June 1 in aid of the Eastern Legal Support Trust.

All proceeds from the 8km sponsored walk around the town’s parks will go towards providing free legal advice for the most vulnerable in society.

The walkers from Blavo & Co will include Emma Lutrario, Laura Burrows, Krishna Fatania, Adrian Smith, Liz Fillingham, Michelle Mwangi, Shoaib Rashid, Lee-Ann Frampton-Anderson and Anslem Billy.

Ms Frampton-Anderson, office manager and partner, said: "We’re all excited about the walk and the chance to raise much needed funds to make a real difference.

"As a full service law firm and the UK’s largest provider of legal mental health legal services, we believe it is important to help the most vulnerable in society.

"The law centre and advice services that these funds will support do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled, and fighting exploitation.

"We also know how short they are of the funds to continue to work.

"The money we raise will help keep the agencies operating and try to ensure their services are as effective as possible "Any sponsorship would be very gratefully received."

The St Albans Legal Walk has a Magna Carta theme to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta and highlight the document’s importance and continuing relevance to access to justice today.

The walk is one of a number nationwide.
