There are severe delays to rail services from St Albans this morning.
Owing to safety checks being made between St Pancras International and St Albans City trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.
Some services to and from the stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised at short notice.
London Underground services are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.
Services between Brighton and Bedford have also been delayed due to a lack of staff.
