Young people in Harpenden are set to benefit from a Summer Discount Card set up by Harpenden Town Council.
Between Friday, July 24 and Monday, August 31, young people aged between eleven and 18 years old will be able to benefit from reduced rates at the gym and swimming pool at Harpenden Sports Centre, in Rothamsted Park.
Harpenden Town Council, along with Youth Connexions have also outlined plans for young people to get discounts on sports clothing and equipment at Good Sports and discounts on food and drink at Blueberry Café at Breathing Space.
Discount cards can be collected from Youth Town councillors at Sir John Lawes, Roundwood Park and St George’s schools, from the Town Hall and at Youth Connexions at the Harpenden Youth Centre, which is above the library on High Street.
The scheme is set to apply to any young person aged between eleven and 18 who lives in Harpenden or similar aged people who are educated in the area.
