People are being encouraged to vote in May’s upcoming elections.
St Albans District Council is backing The National Voter Registration Drive which is taking place between Monday, February 1 and Sunday February 7.
Voters in the St Albans area will go to the polls on Thursday, May 5.
The Police and Crime Commissioner and 18 district councillors will be elected.
Michael Lovelady, Electoral Registration Officer for St Albans City and District, said: “Anyone not yet registered to vote should do so as soon as possible so they can have their say on issues that affect their day-to-day lives.
“I urge people living in the St Albans District to use the National Voter Registration Drive to spread the message among family and friends. It only takes a few minutes to complete the form and register to vote online. Don’t miss out.”
