A crafty commuter has come up a perfect way to make sure she doesn't sleep through her stop - by sticking a note saying where to wake her up on her forehead.
The woman was returning to Harpenden from Kings Cross on a late-night service and had fixed a handwritten note to her head using her glasses.
The note read: ‘Wake me up at Harpenden.’
Marketing intern Jordan Miguel spotted the makeshift alarm clock last week at around 11.50pm while travelling back to Mill Hill after having post-work drinks in central London.
Mr Miguel, 21, said: "I thought it was funny and innovative. I would definitely do it if it meant avoiding waking up in unknown territory to be fair."
Mr Miguel said he had fallen victim to a train nap himself - and had to fork out £20 for another ticket.
He added: "I don't know whether she woke up in time for her stop which was 25 minutes after mine but she was awake when he got off at Mill Hill."
