Officers investigating a sexual assault on a bus in St Albans have released a picture of a potential witness they would like to speak to.
Between 4.15pm and 5pm on Tuesday, June 7, a woman got onto the 602 Uno bus at St Albans Railway Station at 4.20pm and sat at the back of the vehicle.
A man, who was also sitting at the back, exposed himself to her and attempted to touch her leg.
The victim and the offender then got off the bus at Hatfield Railway Station and headed in different directions.
Detective Constable Paul Cullinan, who is investigating, said: “This was obviously a distressing incident for the victim and we are keen to trace the offender.
“We believe the man pictured may be able to supply information that could help with our investigation.
“I am appealing for the man pictured to get in touch or if anyone knows this man to contact me via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting the crime reference F1/16/2152.”
