A double decker bus, farm animals and a stage powered by bicycles were all at the finale of a food and drink festival.
To celebrate the end of the week-long St Albans and Harpenden Food and Drink Festival, around 15,000 people took over St Peter’s Street and Market place on Sunday October 2 to close the festival.
Beric Read, councillor for St Albans City, said: “There was something for people of all ages and culinary tastes, making it a superb afternoon out for the whole family.
"People had the chance to experience new foods, learn new skills and observe some of the District’s best chefs in action.”
Numerous local food and drink firms were involved in the festivities and had the chance to be nominated for awards.
Sam Stoll, from The Pudding Stop in St Albans, said: "It was an awesome day. Great to see the fantastically diverse range of food and drinks on offer in the city."
The festival was launched at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks pub on Sunday, September 25, and had more than 40 events in store.
